Baldwin Racing Engines is a full service machine shop and dyno facility. We do all our own machine work in house with some of the industry leading equipment, Sunnen, Serdi, ProBal, Sioux, BHJ, Van-Norman, Kwik-Way, Esab, Snap-On. We have a full staff of employees, with myself Jeff Baldwin as shop manager and head machinist and assembly, my wife DeAnna takes care of the bookwork, ordering and shipping. Ethan works in the shop as the tear down, hone, general machining and head set up, Joe does a lot of the tear down's, inspections balancing and alot of the reassembly prep work, Big Tone does most of our core buying and finding ,and then we have several part timers that are here from time to time helping out through the busy season's. We build all types of race engines, from circle track, derby, truck pulling, drag race, mud racing, we also build street application engines and we service all types of agricultural engines as well. If it burns gas or diesel we will work on it. We are here to push the industry to the highest level we can with the latest in technolgy and innovation. The derby engine is an engine we have been refining for years and as the sport evolve's we do also. With aid from the Sunnen equipment we can do a excellant job slicking the cylinder walls out with are BHJ torque plates on to aid in low drag on the cylinder walls to help prevent extra heat being built, are oil squirter system we have been using for years now with great success from it keeping the piston heat under control and it also aids in keeping the wrist pin lubed better to keep those from seizing as they will with out it, we also run a set of oil squirters for the camshaft and lifters, keeping a solid stream of oil flowing over those as well, we are trying to help the parts that only get lubed from oil splash. The cylinder heads we use are aftermarket heavy castings from RHS, World and Dart that hold up to the heat so much better than a factory head does. We also are doing all the internal coatings as well, 3 way on the pistons, cylinder head's in the chamber, port's and valves, all the bearing's. We sell anything engine related from the air cleaner to the pan, we also sell a full line of internal and external engine parts, we are also working on a few other thing's to make the sport better like a all aluminum slider driveshaft.
