1988 civic getting ready for run #4. its was ran by my wifes best friend (rookie driver) she took 2ed. she might of placed first but she forgot to take her foot off the clutch

Dam, she did a nice job on that disc.
I've done that 3 times in fords now...I'm gunna try a ceramic next to see if I can keep that from happening...

80 pony/pinto got a bad rear main seal
I'm still working on my first win...so I can quit and start doing some hotrodding...hey hatchet you ready to buy them Pacer wagons? Found me an old street rod today.
no thanks buying a new trailer this year, and i still need to destroy the pinto and spirit i got from you
No problem...them cars will last a while I bought em....haha. hope they win your money back
waiting to come in the shop

Hey hatchet i'm running a 90 crx in a semi weld show can i get a pic of the rear of your civic and what bumper did you have on the front of that ole girl?
were allowed drivers door fully welded passenger doors 6 on 6 off front bumper swaps 18 inch max bumper height and were allowed to load the bumpers. im just wondering what i can do to keep from getting taken out too soon

i think the bumper is off an early 80s gm.i think a loaded bumper would be too much for these little cars to handle. my bumper took 85% of the damage, very little front frame damage and as you can see from the pics she didnt use the rear at all. very basic build welded doors, hatch, and hood, hard nosed front. thats it,its a great little car. remember these are real small cars so build a really good roll cage with a halo if your rules allow. here is the video of her run.

The fronts will take alot, but any full size bumper should be good. They don't really have enough weight behind them to hurt themselves. Rears pack in nice stock. I have ran 2 early 90s hatches, both impressed me. A loaded bumper isn't needed, you might flatten the bumper but it won't get into the radiator.
