This was on the old suddenlaunch site and I thought I'd bring it back. What kind of odd/cool items have you found while stripping a car?
confederate money, denchers, an old butternut can, old mustang ciggerets. old mountain dew cans also.

A used condom.
oil, dollar bills, and clothes all over the floor....
A 1943 Copper penny... one of 40 ever made. I found it in 1994 in a 66 Newport. Sold it in 96 for $82,500. if i would have kept it till now it would be worth $1.5 Million+. one of those things where you wish you could go back in time.
Dam Collins, even at 80grand that's the find of the century. I've found about everything other than something that's worth any money. A couple months ago I stripped out a 1973 Plymouth I found a picture of a little black girl, the birth certificate for the little black girl, and a bag of weed, all under the front seat. Lol
Loose change, 22 cal bullets, old wrenches, snake skins and extra parts. I did get about $400 worth of brand new nails in the trunk of a car once that I am still using. Sorry, nothing exciting yet.
still waiting to find anything of serious value.
One thing that every car seems to have under the seats or carpet is some kind of small child's toy, like a little plastic cowboy or bear or something like that. It's become a tradition in our group to glue that stuff somewhere on the inside of the car as a mascot.
once i pulled up the back seat and found a sword some body had stashed .has india engraved on it. gotta get it checked out
stripped out a car and found what could possibly be a bag of cocaine...it was all wet so idk what it was
found an "alcoholics anonymous" book. looked through it and tossed it on the shelf and got a beer out of the fridge and said, "cheers to the quitters."

i've never found anything to exciting,Just a few wrenches/screwdrivers,a couple bucks worth of change and lots of garbage.
HMM, MY WEINER. AND SOME BELLY BUTTON LINT....
I bought a buick electra in Saint Louis that was full of amps and a brown bag of rubbers!
Dirty diapers, nasty clothes, hair extensions, a bag of white powder... And as always, about a million old french fries...
Actually the car in my picture to the right was a 94 9c1 retired squad caprice, found a live .45 shell under the rear seat...
found 86 bucks worth of change in a box merc a few years back and found a live copperhead coiled up inside the air cleaner of a dippy nothing to exciting yet
Various cheap wrenches and screwdrivers, half used bottles of various vehicle fluids, tire irons (you can make all kinds of tools out of them!), pounds of mouse turds and carcasses, french fries and happy meal toys, all kinds of personal paperwork like bank statements, medical records, etc. (good thing Im not an identity theif). A few camping bag chairs, coolers, and a tent once.
And of course a few hundred bucks worth of change stuck together with french fry grease and soda syrup that isnt even worth the time trying to clean up and save.
Still waiting for the big score.
I found a syringe and needle under the front seat while sweeping it clean with my hands. Thankfully I was wearing leather gloves. I will never do that again. I will take the seats out first. It scared the hell out of me!
