i tried to read mesges off the old wecrash proboards and google brought me to wesmash proboards.com what happen to wecrash wesmash looks the exact same as the one we are used too using? does anyone know what happen?
All of wecrash got divided into two parts, the original wecrash we know and love is at www.wecrash.com, this site. The other, about 70%, went and created their own website (We Smash). The only reason 70% of people left this one is because they didn't like this site. They preferred the direction of using the proboards website instead. This is how i heard it went down. Kinda sucks but oh well. The only good thing about this website is that all the information backs up and saves incase something was lost like what happened in the past at the We Crash Suddenlaunch forums.
A bunch of renagade rebels who are protesting a better website because they lack optimism and vision...JMO
Some people simply reject change because they fear what they dont understand. Remember when we thought 80s and up Fords were junk?
Looking at all of the other derby forums out there, none of them get the traffic and the posts that this site does. Wesmash is basically a ghost town. Derby Icons and Smash It are primarily just using this site so if people want to keep up to date on bigger derbies they are either going to have to look on here or call the promoter directly. It's too bad what happened but I think this site is finally getting back to normal. The posts/tips are flowing, there are lots of cars for sale in the classifieds, and the promoter section is getting rectified. It's going to work out I think.
Its easy to move over to a message board like proboards where starting a completely new website from scratch takes some time. I think it will be just fine once they get the bugs worked out.
I never minded any other sites that started up, I guess the only thing that really chaps my ass, is the copied every single word of mine, motorhead lounge, gearhead shop, etc... Come on make your own crap up. Beside I would not say it's 70%, more like 70% of IN. Why not just make a IN board just like KS and MN did. But please remove my wording whatever you do.

I have to agree with you 100%. As you know I also created one of these other sites and I did basically use your layout with a few changes such as nested forums and such as it is a tried and true way to do it and I can't think of a better way to lay it out. I completely agree that it is your old site with a different logo and name. I do want to ask when is the old site completely shutting down as I still have some personal stuff I am working on pulling off for myself. If it is coming down soon I need to work a little faster.
We will be slowly deleting catgories, but will leave it up for private messages for another month, then bring it all down. I did respect you for setting your own site up and not copying it completely off mine. Thanks
Thank you. Private Messages are mostly what I need and more importantly my outbox messages which are what is taking the most time.

The only reason isn't because of the new site. Yeah the new site is nice but not everyone can use it. It loads slow and some times takes 5 refreshes to load. Then there are some who have really crappy net who use to beable to get on We-Crash no longer can.
Then there was a couple Mods who got way out of line before the Old site was gone who pissed a few ppl off so thats why they didn't come here. I was one of them till i talked to Tory.
I still use the other site more mostly because this site loads slow. I can get to the main page no problem but then searching can be aggrivating.
Hopefully We-Crash will fix the problems everyone is having and we all can call We-Crash home again. But then again i know atleast 25 people who won't come until a couple mod are gone.
btw by me saying 70%, that's what i heard from the arguments from the suddenlaunch site, not my estimate

In our defense, Tory, we did start our MN board 6 years ago as a way to help local guys get their parts and cars more locally, not to take anyone or anything from wecrash
