just need some quick tips. pie shape cut out? how big generlly? where? thanks
common guyssssss
no need to. weld your a-arms down to get some height and it will be ok. but make sure you plate the rear humps if you can because they will blow out and when you notch it take a big U out of the frame about 3 inches after the hump and a V 6-8 inches from the rear
this is what i cut out of mine and it was just enough to pull the front a little past level with the rest of the frame

can you explain where that is for me to save me a little time. i havent looked at one of these cars for about three years and will just be running out to a friends shop to tilt it for him quick. sorry.. stupid question but i just cant see exactly where thats at. thanks
Right behind where your firewall body bolts go, there should be a factory vertical weld. It goes all the way around the frame. Basically just cut the weld on the bottom and halfway up the sides. Drop the front and reweld the cut. It will look stock
Awesome. thank you. thats all i needed
here is kind of a better picture for you hope it helps

Does this work
I've also seen it done at the trans crossmember seemed to do ok
When you tilt chevys Do you pull rearend down like fords????
i had to pull my rear down some just so i could get the weight back on the rearend to get it to move around. i dimpled my frame all the way till it was at a 90 degree angle an then dimpled second spot a lil an then sat body on an it straightened my dimples but when u hit it with a car u can watch it flex bc the frame has so much pressure on it aready
