miller 140 auto set welder for sale $500

Just sold mine. Excellent starter machine, lot of bang for the buck. The auto-set is kick-ass. Most underrated welder I've ever used.
ya this has been a great welder for me i am really suprised no one wants it
It's probably the fact that it's a 115v welder. So many people are so partial against these cause they hear of so many not being powerful enough, when it's user error that holds'em back. Using to small an extension cord or pluggin em into a 15 amp outlet. People need to realize theyre not a frickin toaster and that if you give em 30 amps and a nice big cord they'll weld anything. I sold mine because I had 2 115v welders and one is about 12 years old and figured I could get a lot more money for this Miller since I wont be needing 2 anymore.
I'll tell you right now you hook this welder to a 30 amp breaker at 120 your Fu@#ing up. The welder is designed for a 20stock amp connection. Granted 120 is 120 but the welder is rated for 20a. As an electrician you never connect something that is not rated for it. Using the correct 20 amp branch circut helps and so does using a good larger extension cord. The welder is a nice o be for sure.
Also hooking a 20 amp outlet to a 30 amp branch circut voids the rating on the outlet. That's how fires start.
