Ive heard of some guys rhino lining their frames and fender wells and rocker pannels in their trucks. Is this the best way to stop rust or what are some other ideas
I would use POR15 on the frame and what not. I've seen guys run bed liner on their rocker panels more for protection against obstruction on the trails, but not really for rust prevention.
I have a 1986 Ford F 250 that has a completely Rhino Lined body. It seems to be holding up well. The inside floor was also but I think it was dirty when they did it and has mostly chipped off..... They body doesnt have any chips
Rhino liner is just like any other protective coating. It is only as good as the surface preparation. Nothing including POR will last if tthe surface is not clean, dry, sanded, and rust free.....JMO
