i know this was on the old sit like 20 dif times maybe....... but can anybody plz tell me what the rite pressure i should be useing on my torch useing propaine and what the oxygen should be also
Start with 10 and 25. If it isn't heating up quick enough for you bump it up a bit. 25 on the Oxy should be plenty for the thickness we use. The least amount of pressure needed to get the job done is the most efficient obviously.
k thanks ill start with that
6 AND 26....... VERY SIMPLE TO REMEMBER....AND ONLY CRACK THE VALVES TO OPEN THE CYLINDER, THAT WAY IF THERES A PROBLEM YOU WONT BREAK YOUR WRIST TRYING TO TURN THE VALVE 9 TIMES BEFORE THE GAS IS OFF.....
If you read the smith user manual it says 5 to 15 for acc. and 8 to 18 for propane. Oxygen they have between 40 and 60
I run my torches at 7 and 40 At work they are 10 and 40.
