For the most part it's pretty kid friendly. There is a lot of drinking but in the last 5 years or so I can't say I recall a single fight or kids in harms way.

If you camp and bring kids I suggest getting as far from the track as possible..... Big trucks doing burnouts and about running the golf cart over was rather scary last year

Kids are allowed in the pits with supervision. I do not want un-attended small kids of course. There is no seperate pricing for kids, because of the all access thing.

Family section of the campgrounds is in the southern section near the showers and bathrooms.

Is their a reduced price of admission on kids if just in grandstands?

Is there a list out yet of MM drivers and the states they represent?

Autoslammer, Im pretty sure its all one straight price because theres no way to monitor whose allowed in only the grandstands and whose allowed in the pits. I believe its June 8-10. They have a show before the big show this year. Believe it includes trucks, suvs, compacts, and there was something else but idk remember what. O and that is all tentative of having at least 10 registered cars for each class. Hope that helps everybody.

There will be bands playing immediately after the show both Friday and Saturday.

Camping: $20 per night, electric and water hookups. First come first serve, no reservations. Tons of spots, no worries.

If you are going to look at the cars YOU MUST DO IT BEFORE THEY ARE INSPECTED.  Once inspected they go into a lockdown area and you can't be back there.  I would hate for you to get there and think you can just walk through the pits like a regular derby.  You can walk all over the place, but once each car is inspected it goes into lock down, that way drivers can not alter anything, and the driver can be confident that no one screws with their cars

You'll just have to call the list on the event page... I have asked them to let me know about availabliity, but they have not been the best at updating me.

do you have to preregister for metal mayhem i seen that it opens on the 9th

It will be my first time going to mayhem this yr going to get there some time friday morning to walk around and do some shopping
