im building a 350 sbc to go in a mid 90's crown vic. its a stock engine with stock parts minus a aftermarket carb and intake. my question is has anyone used the block headers with a 3 in. collector. i wish i had the money for dec headers but i dont. so i found block headers pretty cheap on ebay just wondering if there will be a clearance issue and if anyone has used them before
Are you talking about the block huggers?
i ran block huggers with stacks welded to the no problem so they should work
I had to modify the flange to clear some plugs in the head. But they will work.

I ran them before without any issues except for them eating valve cover gaskets, header wrap fixed that problem.
yes the block huggers, im thinking ill have to go with the straight ends instead of the curved at the bottom. but thanks for all the replies. ill order them now.
