HOLY COW! Where do you run that they allow crossmembers like that? How think is the plate you boxed in the frame with?
i run se wi and ne il. darkhorse racing basically lets anything go frame wise from the front bumper to the center of the rear axle. I used 3/8' plate because I have alot of it. 3/16" would work just as well.
ok please note i know the welds on the top of the frame suck that was my old welder it turned in to a turd so i beat it with a sledge hammer and now im useing my budds lol BUT! plate:" alt="" />

Thanx for the pics there is a year end wipe out every year and no inspection so I have a bunch of plow blades from the state trucks prob half inch thick six tall and four feet long so I'm going to cover my rails and make a few kickers
Plow blades are no good, They will crack and break.
plow blades are garbage and will not work! they will break off right next to the weld. they are not meant to be welded.
Back in the day when we bolted them to the doors I had one break and a 6-12 inch piece was gone from the middle. After that I junked everyone of them I had
Wow thanx for tips glad I didn't use them then!
i refuse to even have them on my property anymore outside of scrap material.
now there are all steel ones rather than the cast style, i havent ever had them myself but i would use that type if i were to use one
Would you suggest I use just the same bars I do fr my dash to make door bars? I used them for doors this summer but after hearing that I don't want to
