they are more of a compact size car, so far from a vic. unibody front wheel drive v6!

Not even a great compact due to the extremely weak axles and transmissions. I seen a Taurus wagon run in a fullsize heat last year against a pack of savage Dippys. It lasted two hits before the car wasn't even safe to drive anymore.

depends what you are running against. i had a 94 tempo that did fair, and a 99 taurus that was great (hard front end). both were basically gut n go cars. lots of fun, but i didnt win. in fact i only built em to junk em.....

i disagree stromboli! me and moonshine wore out those vics with a taurus and a calebrity!

good car!  put a god bumper and hang with any compact/midsize!

NO GOOD from what ive seen!   save your money n time,   lumina will destroy a tauras even a corsica will beat a tauras.    u might win a heat but thats about it, they will fall apart even if its buit..   sell the tauras buy a gm or a neon is ok. id take a tempo or a topaz over the tauras.
