i get the general idea about flipping every other leaf but do you draw two together clamp and then repeat just asking because i tried four at once and it ripped the threads off the all-thread and put a hole in my garage door thanks for the help
I made a jig to do all of them at once im sure if you look around you will find the pics but you can also do them like your saying just be careful and have good clamps i have seen alot of them snap also
I looked in the GM section but it wasn't there, so, do you think a 84 Olds would be tough with a set of flat leafs? Thanks.
It would be alot better than stock. Are you allowed hump plates?
Are you using just the all-thread that goes in the center pin hole of the leaves to draw the leaves together?
Bar clamp or pipe clamp works great. Allthread will take your eye out, Unless you find some hard stuff like grade 8. At that point keep lots of grease or lube on it to prevent galling.
yes i just uesed all thread i found that pic of a jig on the old site im going to make one of them
Yeah, humps can be welded, would welding humps be better than leafing? Or doing both? Or just leafing?
I WOULD DO BOTH IF YOU CAN

Alright. Thanks man
can you chain humps ?? The only reason I do a flatstack is because here in NC we arent allowed to chain humps , so if you want a thick straight stack of leafs you have to take the time to make a set up........
Depends on the car would determine if i would flatstack and chain humps if i was allowed
Can chain or plate them, not both
a good set of springs and the humps chained down tight and you barely have to worry about humps blowing out on you ............
