Anyone know when the last year for these cars was? I know they were made into the late 70's like 78 or 79, but was wondering if they made them into the 80's? Thanks DERBY NEWS
76-79....
Anyone else have any info on these cars?
They went to front wheel drive in 1980. The older ones were based on a Nova platform from what I understand.
these good cars?
how are the fronts looks like it has some mean angles
I dont know much about thease cars but they have the 5x5 bolt pattern and like stated earlier they are based on the nova unibody and subframe I have never seen one run and would like to know how they hold up also
i like the shocks from the front fenders to the frame.
i Have seen 3-4 run and yes they are tough if built right like anything else......re-bolt the sub very good and add a good stack of leafs and run it.....All 77 and newer show except one and that one did good too.....

doesnt that frame have too much of a bend there?
Doesnt have anymore bend than a 73-77 malibu, century, cutlass imo...... I would run one
i guess ill have to run er and find out then.
does anybody have sugestions on the backend/trunk
My 77 Nova rear rail crushed inwards to the shackle with the trunk in stock position, the lid was welded and the quarters were bolted. If I do fix it I was thinking about folding the quarter to the trunk floor and bolting, then wedging and bolting. The Novas seem to need alot of bolting to be good, subframe connectors look like a good idea if you can. The sub seems decently tough but the rear bolts take alot of stress.
my buddy ran one in a stock show and the front frame horn bent at the "S" i was not i'm pressed. If you can run old iron bumper brackets would help a lot
BONE STOCK nothing just tank and battery moved and windows knocked out
