The last time I was in my parents attic I remember seeing dozens of models my dad put together as a kid. They were assembled and detailed as originally intended, and they were glued, but he was very meticilous. The boxes they came in are surely long gone. Considering these models were put together 45 to 50 years ago, is there a demand for assembled models of old American cars from that era?
I'd be curious to know what enthusiasts thought. Pictures or even a detailed inventory is not readily available. But I remember seeing a healthy sample of big American cars from the late 50's and 1960's.
I would be curious if they were best served left alone and forgotten, kept as is, or sent to chop shops to maybe become derby cars.
